MODACALZADO+IBERPIEL to take place on March 13-15

MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL, the International Footwear and Leather Goods Trade Fair, an event organised by IFEMA, has been assigned new dates for its next edition. At their meetings in October, the Organising Committees of the two exhibitions that make up this fair decided that they would postpone the staging of their first edition of the year by one day, which means that the event will take place between 13th and 15th March 2011 at Feria de Madrid.

With this decision, the fair has met the requests of a large number of exhibiting companies for the fair to open on a Sunday, with a view to facilitating the attendance of members of the independent footwear trade. The new dates will also include two working days, thus catering for those professionals who prefer to visit the fair during the week.

In addition, at their respective meetings the Organising Committees at MODACALZADO and IBERPIEL expressed their satisfaction regarding the results achieved at the last edition, based on the participation of more than 300 exhibiting companies and 700 brands, similar figures to those achieved the previous September. The fair also welcomed some 10,644 professionals, a 5% increase compared to last March.
